# Appearance

> Set your preferred theme for the Feedal dashboard — light, dark, or system default.

Go to **Account → Appearance** to choose how the Feedal dashboard looks on your device.

## Theme options

| Option     | Description                                             |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Light**  | Light background, dark text — default                   |
| **Dark**   | Dark background, light text                             |
| **System** | Follows your operating system's light/dark mode setting |

Your theme preference is saved to your account and persists across devices and sessions.

## Note on form appearance

The dashboard theme setting only affects the **Feedal studio and dashboard**. The appearance of your published forms is controlled entirely by the [form theme](/building-forms/design/themes) you configure in the studio — it is independent of this setting.
