# AI Credits

> Purchase additional AI Chat prompts that stack on top of your monthly plan allowance.

Every Feedal plan includes a monthly AI Chat allowance. If you need more prompts before your quota resets, you can purchase credit packs as one-time top-ups.

## How credits work

* **Plan allowance** resets every billing month alongside your subscription.
* **Purchased credits** never reset — they carry forward until they expire.
* Credits are consumed **in order**: plan allowance is used first; purchased credits are only drawn down once your monthly quota is exhausted.
* Purchased credits **expire 1 year** from the date of purchase.

  If you buy multiple packs, the expiry extends to the furthest-out date — you won't lose credits by buying more.

## Buying credits

1. Go to **Subscription → AI Credits**.
2. Choose a credit pack.
3. Complete checkout via Razorpay — credits are added to your balance immediately after payment is confirmed.

## Checking your balance

Your current plan allowance and purchased credit balance are both shown on the **Subscription → AI Credits** page. The AI Chat input also displays a live remaining-prompts counter.

## Expiry and carry-forward

* Credits expire **1 year** from purchase date.
* Unused plan allowance does **not** carry forward — it resets with each billing cycle.
* Unused purchased credits **do** carry forward month-to-month until expiry.
