# System Themes

> 10 curated, ready-to-use themes covering a wide range of aesthetics — apply any in one click and customise from there.

System themes are professionally crafted presets available to every Feedal account. They are read-only but you can apply one and save a personalised copy from the **Design → Gallery** panel.

## The 10 system themes

### Parchment

**Aesthetic:** Warm editorial, timeless feel
**Layout:** Clean
**Font:** Lora (serif)
**Colors:** Near-black on warm ivory (`#faf7f0` background)
**Shape:** Sharp corners (radius 4)

A bookish, high-contrast theme ideal for long-form research surveys or any context that benefits from a literary, trustworthy aesthetic.

### Obsidian

**Aesthetic:** Dark professional
**Layout:** Navbar
**Font:** Outfit (sans-serif)
**Colors:** Indigo accent (`#818cf8`) on deep navy (`#0f0f1a`)
**Shape:** Rounded (radius 12)

Polished dark-mode theme with a floating navbar. Works well for technical surveys, developer tools, and SaaS product research.

### Vermillion

**Aesthetic:** Bold brand
**Layout:** Split
**Font:** Syne (display sans)
**Colors:** Vivid red (`#dc2626`) sidebar, clean white right pane
**Shape:** Standard (radius 8)

High-impact split layout with a commanding red sidebar. Designed for brand-forward forms, product launches, and NPS surveys where you want a strong visual impression.

### Canopy

**Aesthetic:** Nature, organic
**Layout:** Split
**Font:** DM Serif Display (serif)
**Colors:** Forest green (`#166534`) sidebar, soft mint right pane
**Shape:** Subtle rounding (radius 6)

Earthy and grounded, with a calming green sidebar. Suitable for sustainability surveys, wellness forms, and environmental research.

### Soleil

**Aesthetic:** Warm, playful
**Layout:** Clean
**Font:** Nunito (rounded sans)
**Colors:** Amber (`#d97706`) on a warm yellow gradient background
**Shape:** Pill-like (radius 20)

Friendly and approachable. The soft gradient background and rounded shapes invite engagement. Great for customer satisfaction and onboarding forms.

### Onyx & Amber

**Aesthetic:** Dark, moody, editorial
**Layout:** Split
**Font:** Barlow Condensed (condensed sans)
**Colors:** Amber (`#f59e0b`) sidebar accent on deep near-black
**Shape:** Ultra-sharp (radius 2)

High contrast and dramatically minimal. The amber-on-black split sidebar commands attention. Designed for bold brand expressions and high-stakes data collection.

### Porcelain

**Aesthetic:** Luxury, refined minimal
**Layout:** Navbar
**Font:** Cormorant Garamond (elegant serif)
**Colors:** Deep rose (`#9f1239`) on pure white, no progress bar
**Shape:** Perfectly square (radius 0)

Understated luxury with sharp corners and a delicate serif. The navbar has a bottom border for structure without shadow. Ideal for premium brands, hospitality, and fashion.

### Blueprint

**Aesthetic:** Tech, modern
**Layout:** Navbar
**Font:** Plus Jakarta Sans (contemporary sans)
**Colors:** Electric blue (`#3b82f6`) on a dark navy gradient
**Shape:** Generously rounded (radius 16)

A dark gradient background with a glowing blue accent gives this theme a product-forward, engineering aesthetic. Well-suited for software products, developer tools, and data collection at scale.

### Fieldstone

**Aesthetic:** Editorial magazine
**Layout:** Clean
**Font:** Libre Baskerville (traditional serif)
**Colors:** Near-black on cool light slate (`#f1f5f9`)
**Shape:** Near-sharp (radius 2)

Old-school editorial character — a traditional serif on a cool slate background with sharp corners. Reads like a well-typeset print article. Excellent for academic research and editorial brand voices.

### Glacial

**Aesthetic:** Corporate, clean
**Layout:** Split
**Font:** Albert Sans (clean geometric sans)
**Colors:** Sky blue (`#0369a1`) sidebar, crisp white right pane on ice blue background
**Shape:** Standard (radius 10)

A professional split layout with a calm blue sidebar. Precise and trustworthy — the default choice for enterprise data collection, HR surveys, and compliance forms.

## Applying a system theme

1. Open **Design** in the studio top bar
2. The Gallery tab is shown by default — use the **System** filter to see only system themes
3. Click any theme card to apply it
4. The panel switches to **Customise** automatically so you can tweak it
5. Click **Save theme** to preserve your changes as a new saved theme

  System themes cannot be overwritten. Saving will always create a new theme in your account.
